About me:
Hi, I’m Dylan! I’m an HCPC-registered physiotherapist with NHS experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy across all joints, working with people from all walks of life. My clinical placements gave me a really broad foundation too, including neuro outpatients, acute stroke, respiratory and ITU, MSK outpatients focusing on post op rehabilitation, geriatrics and chronic pain, plus trauma and orthopaedics. That mix has shaped how I think about rehab as a whole, not just the joint or injury in front of me.
Outside the clinic, I love staying active. I’m a qualified running coach, currently training for a half marathon myself, but honestly I love most sports going. I grew up playing football, surfing, playing racket sports, such as squash and, more recently, padel, as well as cycling, swimming and hiking too. I think that variety helps me relate to people doing all sorts of different activities, whatever brings them in. Despite being horrifically average at most of these, the joy that comes with them is difficult to replicate, and for that reason I completely understand the difficulty of being sidelined by injuries from doing what you love, having also experienced my fair share.
Specialisation:
General musculoskeletal physiotherapy for all ages and activity levels, covering the full body, with a particular interest in lower limb, alongside back, neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.
Approach:
For me, physiotherapy isn’t just about the injury, it’s about the person in front of me, their goals, and what matters to them. I combine hands-on manual therapy with evidence-based exercise rehabilitation, and I make sure you understand why something’s happening, not just what to do about it. My goal is to get you back to doing what you love, with the confidence and knowledge to stay there.
Services Offered:
-
- Physiotherapy and injury rehabilitation
- Manual therapy and soft tissue work
- Exercise prescription and load management
- Return-to-sport rehabilitation
- Injury prevention
Expertise:
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
I assess, diagnose and manage MSK conditions across all joints and age groups having seen a wide range of these during my time in the NHS.
Treatment Planning
Rather than a one-size-fits-all programme, I work with you to build a plan that fits your lifestyle, goals and what’s realistic for you, adjusting as you progress.
Running Coaching
As a qualified running coach and runner myself, I have a real interest in helping people manage training loads, prevent injuries, and get back to running after time off.
Hands-On Therapy
I use manual therapy and treatment adjuncts where appropriate, alongside exercise, to help with pain relief and movement.
Education
I think understanding your body is a big part of recovery, so I’ll always try to explain what’s going on and why, so you leave each session a bit more clued up than when you arrived.
Why choose to work with me:
I’ll take the time to actually listen and figure out what’s going on, then work with you on a plan that fits what matters to you, whether that’s getting back to running, sport, or just everyday life without pain. I keep things straightforward, working closely with my patients to ensure they never leave a session dissatisfied.
Availability:
I am based at the Barnet and Winchmore Hill Clinics throughout the week. You can check my schedule and availability on the website or by calling the clinic directly!
