What can happen though is discs can herniate or bulge. It is vital that our language here is understood as it can affect individuals beliefs and expectation outcomes.

Once upon a time the recommendation for this condition was bed rest, for up to two weeks! Times have changed since then and now the recommended advice centres on movement and controlled exercises.
