Frequently Asked Questions at Bodylogics Health and Fitness Clinic

To help make your experience at Bodylogics easier and smoother we have put together a series of frequently asked questions to help you get the most out of your service or treatment with us.  If there are any other questions then please feel free to call us and we will be happy to answer anything you wish to know.

Your journey to recovery starts the moment you walk through our doors. At Bodylogics, we don’t believe in guesswork — we believe in clarity, expertise, and results.

Every first session is designed to give you real answers and a real plan.

    Here’s what you can expect:

    A Warm Welcome

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a friendly, professional team who genuinely care. We know that seeking treatment can feel daunting — we’re here to put you at ease.

    A Thorough Assessment

Your clinician will take the time to listen to your concerns, understand your symptoms, and carry out a detailed clinical assessment. We never rush this process — because getting the right diagnosis starts with understanding you.

    Expert Diagnosis

By the end of your first session, you’ll leave with:

    • A clear diagnosis of what’s going on

    • An understanding of how and why the issue occurred

    • A realistic time frame for recovery

    • A step-by-step treatment plan tailored to you

    Unmatched Clinical Standards

All Bodylogics practitioners undergo rigorous, ongoing training to stay at the forefront of their field. From advanced clinical techniques to industry-leading customer care, we invest in our team so they can deliver the very best to you.

    Honest, No-Pressure Guidance

We aim to resolve most issues within just 5 sessions. If we can help you feel better in fewer, we will. If you need a longer plan, we’ll explain exactly why — with no fluff and no pressure.

You Deserve Answers AND You Deserve Results.

If you have private health insurance, your treatment with us may be fully covered — and we’re here to help make the process easy.

Bodylogics is recognised by all major health insurance providers, including Bupa, AXA, Aviva, Vitality, WPA and more. That means in most cases, your insurer will pay us directly for your treatment — so you can focus on getting better.

    What You Need to Do

To ensure your insurance covers the cost of treatment, here’s what you need to do before booking:

    1. Contact your insurer and request authorisation for physiotherapy or other treatment.

    2. Get your authorisation code along with any other details your provider needs us to have.

    3. Then contact us to book your appointment — we’ll take care of the rest.

If you’re unsure about what’s required, just give us a call. Our admin team is experienced in dealing with all the major insurers and will be happy to guide you through the process.

We want every session to give you real value and real progress — and that starts with making sure we have the right amount of time for your needs.

    Physiotherapy Appointments

    Initial Assessment: Recommended 45 minutes
Your first physio session includes a full assessment, diagnosis, and hands-on treatment. We’ll also build your personalised rehab plan and give you a clear roadmap to recovery.

    Follow-up Sessions: Recommended 30 minutes
Focused, hands-on treatments and rehab progressions tailored to your goals and condition.

    Massage Therapy

    First Appointment: Recommended 60 minutes
We recommend a full hour for your first session so we can assess your needs and deliver a thorough, targeted treatment.

    Follow-up Sessions: 30–60 minutes
Choose based on your goals — shorter sessions for maintenance, or longer sessions for deeper work and recovery.

Not sure what’s right for you? Just give us a call — our team will help you choose the best type and length of session based on your symptoms and goals.

    Barnet Clinic – Parking Information

Q: Is there parking available at your Barnet clinic?

A: Yes. There is street parking around the clinic. Henry Road offers free parking, though there are some marked bays you’ll need to be aware of. Most patients find that parking here is straightforward and not usually difficult.

    Whetstone Clinic – Parking Information

Q: Is there parking available at your Whetstone clinic?

A: Yes. The street directly outside the clinic currently offers free parking (as of 8th December 2025 — please check local signage in case rules have changed). Free parking is also available in surrounding side roads. Parking here is generally easy and not overly busy.

    Colindale Clinic – Parking Information

Q: Where can I park when visiting your Colindale clinic?

A: The most convenient parking is in the shared car park for Marks & Spencer and Aldi. Parking here is free for up to 2 hours, which is more than enough time for most appointments (accurate as of 8th December 2025 — please always check the signs when parking). This is the recommended place to park when visiting the Colindale clinic.

Winchmore Hill Clinic – Parking Information

Q: Is there parking near your Winchmore Hill clinic?

A: Yes, but please be aware of local restrictions. Between 10:30–11:30am, nearby roads are residents-only. Outside of this time, parking is free.
Parking can be limited at busy times, so we suggest allowing extra time to find a suitable spot.

You can also find free parking at the bottom of Wades Hill, though it is approximately a 5–7 minute uphill walk to the clinic.

We know it can be hard to know who to see — especially if you’re in pain and just want to feel better fast.

The best way to choose the right therapist is to visit our Meet the Team page, where each clinician has shared exactly what they specialise in. Whether it’s back pain, sports injuries, post-surgery rehab, or deep tissue massage, you’ll find clear guidance on who is best suited to help.

Each member of our team is highly trained, fully qualified, and focused on getting results — but matching you with the right clinician from the start helps us deliver those results even faster.

    Still unsure?

Call our reception team — we’ll ask a few simple questions about your injury and guide you to the best person for your needs.

Your first appointment at Bodylogics is all about getting you answers — and getting started on treatment straight away.

We understand you don’t just want to talk about your pain — you want to start fixing it. That’s why every first session is designed to combine expert assessment and hands-on therapy, so you can leave feeling clearer, more confident, and already on the road to recovery.

    Here’s what you can expect:

    A Clear Diagnosis

We start by listening. Your therapist will take a detailed history, ask the right questions, and carry out a thorough physical assessment to understand exactly what’s causing your pain.

    How and Why It Happened

Understanding the root cause is essential — whether it’s posture, movement habits, previous injuries or something else. We’ll explain this in clear, simple language so it makes sense to you.

    A Realistic Time Frame

We don’t make false promises. Based on your condition, we’ll give you a realistic expectation of how long recovery will take — and how many sessions you’re likely to need. (We aim to resolve most issues within 5 sessions.)

    Your Personalised Treatment Plan

You’ll leave with a clear plan of action — what we’ll do in clinic, what you can do at home, and how we’ll track your progress together.

You’ll Receive Hands-On Treatment in Your First Session

After your assessment, we get straight to work. Whether it’s manual therapy, massage, mobilisations, or targeted rehab exercises, you’ll receive hands-on treatment during your very first visit — no delays.

We’re here to get you better, not keep you waiting.

At Bodylogics, we believe in getting you better as quickly as possible — not keeping you coming back unnecessarily.

While every patient is different, our goal is simple:
We aim to resolve most issues within 5 sessions or fewer.

By targeting the root cause of your pain from the very first appointment, we’re able to deliver focused, effective treatment that works. Many of our patients notice a significant improvement after just 1 or 2 sessions.

We’ll always be honest with you — if you only need a couple of sessions, that’s all we’ll recommend. And if your recovery requires a longer plan, we’ll explain why and guide you every step of the way.

    Our 100% Risk-Free Guarantee

We’re so confident in our care that if you don’t feel a clear improvement after your first session — your next one is completely FREE.

No catches. No small print. Just a team that stands behind what we do.
Because your recovery shouldn’t be a gamble — it should be a guarantee.

Book with confidence. Start feeling better today.

    Appointment Cancellation/Rescheduled/No Show Policy

Our goal is to provide quality individualised care in a timely manner. “No Shows” and late cancellations inconvenience those individuals who are in need of medical treatment. We would like to remind you of our clinic policy regarding missed appointments.

Cancellation or Rescheduling of an Appointment

In order to be respectful of the needs of other patients, please call Bodylogics promptly if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We require that you call twenty-four (24) hours in advance of a working day* or email us to cancel or reschedule.  Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another person the possibility to receive care in a timely manner.  Please note that you cannot reschedule an appointment within 24 hours of it due to take place.  This would be categorised as a cancelled appointment due to it falling outside the 24 hour period required for us to be able to fill with another patient.

*Please note that Sunday does not count as a working day and the deadline for receiving Saturday cancellations is 5:00pm.

As a courtesy, we will email you forty-eight (48) hours in advance to confirm your appointment and also twenty-four hours before via SMS. If you are not able to keep your appointment, we will be happy to reschedule it for you. Please do give us 24 hour advance notice of a working day to cancel or reschedule. Failure to do so will result in the full fee being charged (for cancellations and rescheduled appointments – please see information above for full overview of the terms).

*Please note that Sunday does not count as a working day and the deadline for receiving Saturday cancellations is 5:00pm.

    No Show Policy

A “No Show” is someone who is not present at the time of their scheduled appointment and has not provided adequate notification. We understand that emergencies may occur, however, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you are preventing another patient from getting much needed treatment.

Charge for Late Cancellations, Late Rescheduled and No Show’s

Failure to give 24 hour advance notice (of a working day*) of a cancellation or rescheduled appointment or being a “No Show” will result in a non-refundable administrative charge of the full cost of treatment.

*Please note that Sunday does not count as a working day and the deadline for receiving Saturday cancellations is 5:00pm.

This applies to verbally booked appointments as well as those booked online.  Part of our policy and terms is that you agree to have your card details held on file.  Your account will automatically be charged if you fail to notify us before the 24 hour period for your appointment.

For those who are seeing us via private healthcare, your fee will not always be covered by your insurance company and it would be your responsibility to settle the outstanding amount. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please ask our staff and we will be glad to clarify your questions.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

By booking with Bodylogics you are doing so on the understanding that you have read our cancellation policy.
