Stress-injury relationship

The relationship between stress and injury is not well documented but there is significant evidence to suggest that higher levels of stress can result in an increased chance of sustaining injury.  Injury is referred to as any form of musculoskeletal damage which could take place in the sporting environment or through overuse in the work place.  We are all susceptible to injury in whatever we do but there are a number of ways that we can reduce these risks.  The article link here gives a great insight to the dangers that dancers may face as a result of stress.
