Massage and it’s effect on mood and anxiety

Studies have shown that massage lowers anxiety and cortisol levels.  Cortisol has been shown to be the main stress hormone and higher Cortisol levels can lead to an increase risk of injury.  Massage can help to lower the presence of this hormone.
