"Training to race at the highest level in Paratriathlon against full-time athletes, while working long hours and running around after small children, means I don’t get the rest and recovery I really need. In the past I’ve not always made enough time to look after my body, hence calf injury, but going forward as I prepare for a half ironman distance event in August, I’ll be making that time to help stave off injury and maintain consistency in my training. Over the years I’ve seen many sports therapists and physios, including national team staff, but I would confidently recommend Alison and Ali at Bodylogics as some of the best therapists I’ve been treated by."
Garrett Turbett, MSc, ranked 7th in the ITU paratriathlon world rankings
"As a Professional sportsman I rely on my body to be in good shape. With the nature of my job it is natural to have some injuries and Alison has been there for me when needed. I try and see her as often as I can when I'm home also to prevent such injuries happening too. On my travels I have seen many physios and Alison is up there with the best. She's very professional and would recommend her to my my friends and colleagues"

"I developed a significant back problem just as I was starting my London Marathon training in January this year. I took advice on what to do from various sources and ended up going to a physio I hadn’t been to before. He ended up giving me various types of treatment, including dry needling. My progress was slow but I was making progress.
I managed to make my way round the London Marathon course but slowly. Given that I had managed it with some pain and almost zero training, I was very pleased to still get a ‘good for age’ place. Since the Marathon I have been running but still struggling. I have been having massages with Ali Dodd at Bodylogics for almost as long as I’ve been running and when I had the chance of a follow up session to include dry needling with one of Ali’s colleagues, Gerard, I was happy to take the chance. I have a lot of confidence in Ali and her team. Gerard did some soft tissue on my back before the needing and it highlighted the fact that my back was not right and it was very painful still. He then used the needles, which are interesting because you don’t feel much when they are in but the back hasn’t been a problem since and very slowly my running is getting a bit better."

"Just wanted to say thank you so much to Ali!! I was so sore and feeling sorry for myself and you were fantastic. Although my neck was very tender after massage, it feels SO much looser and better today - thank you. See you next week"
"Can't live without my monthly sports massage. Hits the spot each time. Thank you Alison. You have saved my running career"
"Great treatment! Really helped in reducing my back spasm so I can walk again. Thank you!"
